Leadership Vestavia Hills (LVH), in collaboration with the City of Vestavia Hills, is currently seeking nominations for its Community Leadership Awards. Each year, LVH recognizes local leaders who make a positive impact in our community.
The 3 Awards include:
- Community Impact Award—awarded to a Vestavia Hills resident who has contributed to the community and quality of life in Vestavia Hills across many years.
- Distinguished Citizen Award—awarded to a Vestavia Hills resident who has made significant artistic, scientific, social, political, economic, or academic contributions regionally, nationally, or worldwide.
- Emerging Leader Recognition—recognizing a maximum of five up-and-coming individuals who are making significant contributions to Vestavia Hills, its residents and/or business community. Recipients may include any resident, business owner or City, Chamber, or City Schools staff member.
Nomination applications are available now – October 30, 2023. Award recipients and honorees will be announced in December, along with ticket information for the event.
Recipients for the 32nd Community Leadership Awards event will be honored at an awards dinner on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the Ballroom of the Vestavia Hills Civic Center.
